Off to Ottawa and Montreal for Flash Camp

canada_mapI’m getting ready to head to the great white north for some customer meetings and a Flash Camp in Ottawa tomorrow. If you’re close, swing by. We’ve got a really solid lineup of sessions including a 101 by Stacy Young for those new to Flex, and some nitty gritty sessions on using the profiler and Flex and Google App Engine. I’m going to be presenting Flash Catalyst and I’ll bring a couple of MAX DVDs for those that couldn’t make it as well as some Tour de Flex USB keys that I’ve got.

I’ll be in Ottawa tomorrow (Tuesday) and then in Montreal on Wednesday. My Montreal schedule is semi-free so if anyone’s up for beers or a meeting, drop me an email or leave me a text message on my cell (267.250.9422).

This One Time, at Flash Camp….I Got Flash CS4

We’re doing a BarCamp style event just for the Adobe crowd in San Francisco during the weekend of October 10th. The event, dubbed Flash 10 Camp is going to offer a bunch of sneak peaks and content regarding Flash Player 10 and Flash CS4. Lee Brimelow is even giving the keynote on Sunday.

I won’t be in the Bay that weekend unfortunately but it looks like it’s going to be a very good event. I’d love for the Flex crowd to show up en masse so you can see everything that Flash Player 10 offers. There are going to be a bunch of prizes given away over the weekend and one of them is Flash CS4, so if you want to see what’s been cooking, this s a great way to see it and possibly have some to take home.
