    Hey, Ryan:

I have been following your website since I first found out about Apollo over 2 months ago. I believe your site actually directed me to Mike Chambers blog. Which I would like to say thank you. You had posted that you would be possibly recieving more invites for Wallop. If you do recieve any additional invites I would love to be supplied with one.

    Thanks in advance.
    Jason

PS: Are you going to be at MAXUP?

    Ryan,

Your writings have been a major source of info and thoughts on RIA and its emerging products. We are working on a product in this space and probably you would be the first one we will preview with. Great year ahead for RIA with all the new activity on the desktop.

To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.

Ryan, I do not know if it would be better for me to send you an email or just to write all in this comment, but I can start by giving away some details. So first of all, I am still in the University and I am trying to put up a sort of a seminar where I would like to invite some people from techs world. Until now I have managed to get some important people but only from Romania and I would like to bring some of the “big guys” here. Would you be interested in speaking to such a meeting ? If yes, I would like to know when would it be the best period for you and the sum of money involved in this.

I would like to hear more from you,
    Thanks

    Hi Ryan,

Flash is an amazing technology but given a lot of companies dependency on ranking well in search engines, and that flash isn’t particularly search friendly, do you truly believe it could become more dominant.

On a seperate note, my wife and I are thinking of doing a backpacking holiday somewhere around North America. Do you have any personal recommendations for some great spots?

    Thanks,

    Jason

The contact page is certainly an unorthodox place for a discussion about Flash.

Anyway, using Flash in the right areas of a page, keeping some text and good SEO principles in mind should give no problems SEO wise.

Sure, a pure Flash site with javascript links won’t do too well, but this is where logic needs to be applied.

    James.
