There has been a lot going on and I’ll cover it over the next few weeks. But this weekend, on Saturday at 11:00, I’m going to be speaking on PhoneGap for the Seattle Google Developer Group’s Devfest. The whole conference looks awesome so if you’re in the area, sign up and learn a ton about creating apps across device form factors.Tweet
I had the chance to present to the Seattle Web App Developers Group (formerly the Flex UG) and here are the slides from that presentation. Thanks a ton to everyone who came out. It was a lot of fun and it was exciting to see so many people interested in PhoneGap.Tweet
If you’re on the fence for going to FITC Amsterdam you’re running out of time to lock in the early bird pricing. It ends on Friday, so register now!
It’s going to be a monumental year for Flash developers with a lot of open questions and some great new technology to play with. FITC Amsterdam will give you some insight into how those technologies can be used and how to navigate the web application landscape.Tweet
I had a blast presenting at the San Diego Flash Users Group last week and getting a chance to show off Flex “Hero”‘s mobile features as well as getting to hang out with the SDFUG crew. Big thanks to Chris Griffith and Kyle Tyacke for setting it up and to Andrew Walpole, Aaron Pederson, and James Polanco for the great beer opportunities.
I got a chance tonight to upload my slides to Slideshare. They can be found here and embedded below. You can also check out the demo app I built, which shows off some of the things I talked about in the deck. It’s here on Github.Tweet
