Beer List for Flash Camp 2011

Most of you know that I’m a pretty serious beer person. And since we have a fantastic beer store, City Beer, just up the street from the SF office, it makes it easy to get good beer for events like Flash Camp. I just finalized the list and we’ve got some great beers. At this point you should have no excuse; it doesn’t get better than mobile development and great beer.

We’ve got some great sessions, the product teams are coming to help answer questions, and it will be a lot of fun to show off the Flex mobile story in person.

Great beer list Ryan – wish I could make it :) I had a Russian River Pliny the Elder a couple months back – it was awesome. Victorys V-Twelve is my favorite Victory beer – planning on doing a tour of Victory soon since its not far from Blue Bell/Philly. My favorite lately though is Monks Café Flemish Sour Ale – imagine you might have had one before. Have a great FlashCamp and hope the new twig on your family tree is doing well :)

Never had any of this. My favorites lately come from Stone Brewery in Escondido CA with Arrogant Bastard being my favorite, but I will try some of the ones you listed there. Don’t forget about great ol’ Hefeweizen type beers, never filtered nor pasteruized (at least the ones coming from Germany)

Oh my gosh, Victory Golden Monkey is so good, and frighteningly strong if you’re not careful. You’ve got to try Tilburg’s Dutch Brown Ale. That is hands down, my favorite beer. Check it out.

Never too sure with American customs, but have you ever tried travelling around trying out the local untied free houses? (Pubs that free to sell what alcohol they want.)
At least in England you can get a very wide variety that’s wide enough to keep you happy for quite some time.
