This is cool !

Although, I’ll still be using google maps, while I’m comparing mapping platforms .. the platform that has more data wins .. google is a clear winner in that respect … India (1/6th of the world lives here) on yahoo is just a bunch of outlines, while google has details to the street level.

While using Google Maps in Flex applications, modestmaps is extremely helpful.

Hey Thomas, for Flex applications the Yahoo Maps API is going to be awesome. For AIR apps since you can do both HTML and Flex I’ve been using the Google Maps API and it seems more full featured right now. I also wanted practice with the security sandbox. Using the Flex API will be much easier for you in AIR and Flex.
