Video of Thermo on Adobe Edge

December 4th, 2007 by ryanstewart

Video of Thermo on Adobe EdgeI knew this was coming but it look like it’s finally up. Julie Campagna from the Edge Newsletter sat down with Mark Anders and Steven Heintz from the Thermo team to talk about the product. There isn’t a lot of new information there but it’s still worth watching. I’m also uploading a high resolution version of the demo to the Thermo page on Facebook.

I’m in Thermo meetings all week and there are a lot of things we’re talking about. In chatting with the team, they really want to be as open/transparent as possible, so hopefully we’ll get some new information out to you guys sooner rather than later. I also really appreciate the Thermo feedback here on my blog. Keep it coming!

Arrrgghh still looks like inline MXML from the brief shots of code in that video. I do hope Thermo at least has the option to create external AS classes for each skin. Pretty please!

I wonder if there happen to be code discrepancies when doing it from outside of the file. When i use codes i know i cant be wrong but when an outer appl generates the code from outside depending on what i do, i a not sure if this may affect the efficiency of the service. of course i am not telling regular shapes but interactions etc. Generally the major point is that Thermo looks very futuristic and simple. Still waiting for more details. By the way good thema ryan ;)
