First a bus tour now an MTV contest? Jeez? I know Microsoft did a WWE website but how come they didn't have Captain Lou Albano tour the country touting the benifits of Silverlight? We need to step up our game.

Wow, not sure what happened to my ability to use basic grammar and spelling in the previous comment.

Saw your Tweet on Drupal - have you tried FarCry for ColdFusion?

True story:

MTV (Viacom, really) had this issue where there viewing demographic was "transient" - large portions wouldn't actually watch the channel. They'd channel surf to it, see something they sorta liked, and watch until the first commercial break, at which point they'd change the channel because there was no incentive to stay (e.g., "What happens after this suspenseful moment?").

They took their problem to a consulting company (Booz Allen Hamilton, where I used to work)...the (expensive) answer they received was "Stop showing 3-minutes programming. Show shows with plots, interrupt the plot at an interesting moment with a commercial break, making people stick around to see what happens."

Not exactly a non-obvious or creative solution, but it means you can blame my ex-employed (and me, by proxy, even though I wasn't involved!) for MTV stopping showing videos.
