Took me a while to stumble on this, but I found it.

The AIR version issue is known. We built it originally for beta 1. When beta 2 came out, all hell broke loose with our app. I’ve finally got it to the point where it works in the command line runner in the Flex SDK, but the packaged version starts up and leaves me with a blank window. I’m trying to see if I can fix that tonight/tomorrow so someone here at Yahoo! can show it at a conference over the weekend.

I received this error when attempting to install on a Mac.

“This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which is no longer supported. Please contact the application author for an updated version.”

Just downloaded and installed the Yahoo! Mail app. You may want to mention that (at least on a Mac) you need to drop the .zip from the end of the file, but not unzip the application.

Had a bit of difficulty, but thought I read somewhere that AIR apps were zip files.
