Frame-based Animation Vs. Time-based Animation

June 1st, 2007 by ryanstewart

Lee posted this picture of he and Robby Ingebresten getting into a deep animation discussion at the Identity Mine dinner we went to during MIX. Personally, I think the guy wearing a UFC shirt is always right, but I’m all about self-preservation.

That was a really fun dinner. I wasn’t at this table, but I overheard parts of the argument. Designers arguing about animations is always a good time.

Looking back at this dinner we at IM couldn’t have asked for a better group to spend the evening with. I’m glad Zefferino didn’t serve up any bad food or the WPF community would have taken a major hit if all the people in that room went offline for a time.
