First Papervision and now Outsmart’s 3D Engine are showing that 3D isn’t limited to just WPF. This is all software based 3D, but I think this demo is great because it uses Flex components inline with the 3D environment. It’s a cool example of what you can do and it runs pretty smoothly on my machine.
They’re working towards a full 3D virtual chat, so I’d be curious to see what happens to performance as you add more users. But for right now, feel free to check it out and interact with the Flex components.
