3D Tools for WPF and Scott Guthrie on Red vs. Blue

Don Burnett has been on a blogging burst about WPF. He has a couple of posts I thought the RIA community at large could benefit from. He has a great list of 3D tools that WPF developers and designers can use to leverage some of the 3D capabilities in the framework. Part two covers the 3D tool extensions for WPF. As Rob Relyea notes, there is a lot more to WPF than 3D, so developers should keep that in mind, but Don makes a good case for new kinds of data visualization that would have been impossible before.

Over on Sean Alexander’s blog, I saw a funny Red vs. Blue episode where Scott Guthrie got to guest spot. As Sean notes, they even built a WPF/E player for it, so you’ll need to download the February CTP to view it.
