Coding Bliss with NeverRain

I think almost every coder has heard of Eric Jordan and NeverRain, but I’d forgotten about it until Mike Kollen mentioned it the other day. I code to a lot of different things; everything from Country music to 15th century Renaissance music but Techno/Trance probably leaves me in the most productive mood. Eric Jordan’s February mix, Beyond, is really good. If you code to that kind of music, check it out.

I think Eric should get his own finetune station.

I’ve always been a fan of coding to film scores.

I just got the score for Battlestar Galattica Season 1 and 2.

When I code to it, I reach a transcendent level of geekness where I radiate CFML and my clothing is effected by CSS.

I need to go to sleep.

Hey Ryan, Thanks! Always looking for new music… I’m most productive with trance/vocals. Listening to tristate at the moment http://www.cduniverse.com/search/xx/music/pid/7048427/a/Tri-State.htm

Check it out if you haven’t already…

Where I live, we have Comcast as out cable provider and they have those all music channels. Whenever I code I turn on the SoundScapes channel which is all relaxing, transit music. I find that I concentrate a lot better with that in the background then having nothing at all.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE baby! That code doesn’t stand a chance (and yes, I see the irony)
    :-)

Nice! Now I’ve got a ton of suggestions (and a snapshot of what people listen to). I wonder if I can somehow use that to my advantage :)
