I seriously feel sorry for anyone who actually takes you seriously.

The picture is absurd in that it misrepresents desktops. In fact, to me it represents an ugly trend in consumerist understanding of technology. It's rather unfortunate that computers have become the new car, but this assertion is still grossly inappropriate for business or individual use.

Also, in response to "Apollo != Flash":

"Apollo is client-based software that will run Flash applications separately from a browser, whether online or offline," - Kevin Lynch, ['Flash to jump beyond the browser', news.com]

"The idea of bringing the rich Flash experience to the desktop isn't something new to Adobe" - Ryan Stewart

Apollo's association with Flash is a good thing because if it isn't Flash then in the public's mind it is no more different than the latest iteration of Java, .NET Framework, Bonzi Buddy,.. spyware pushing ads, eating up ram, and violating privacy.

I find it absolutely absurd that you went to the trouble to photoshop a 6K+ Alienware computer and at the same time use it to justify the move to the desktop for the flash player.

I can't imagine future applications running in browser unless browser becomes much better (no memory leaks, APIs to customize chrome etc, cross-platform)...
