Eclipse Error – Save could not be completed, Reason: Has been changed on the file system

After doing some testing today, I think Joe fixed the Eclipse problem I mentioned yesterday.

I’ve been using it for a while, trying to get the files that usually give me the error message to pop the error up, but to no avail.

So for anyone who is getting the error, try turning off auto-scanning of network drives in your AntiVirus.

    Turning off auto-scan Antivirus worked the first day or two, but the problem has cropped up again.

    @Char:

    make sure everybody who may have a mapped network drive to that location has the anti-virus option off.

    I know this was posted a while ago. But I’d just to mention I experience this problem on a Mac.. so no virus scanner in use. The problem only happens to me when I have multiple editors of the same file open. Doesn’t happen enough to be a huge problem, but it’s pretty annoying when it does — especially as multiple editors is so useful on a widescreen.

    Cheers, Alx.
